Priya Nair, Founder
Halcyon designs and delivers high-end residential and boutique-hospitality interiors across western India. Twelve years in practice, 80+ projects, specialised in coastal and heritage properties.
About the practice
Halcyon was founded in 2014 with a single brief: bring the discipline of hotel design to private homes. The studio operates with a tight core team of seven, taking on no more than ten active projects at a time. Materials are sourced locally where possible — Bombay flame-finished basalt, Karnataka teak, and a long-running collaboration with the Channapatna toy-makers' co-operative.
Notable projects include a 1920s Bandra bungalow restoration, a 48-room boutique hotel on the Konkan coast, and the headquarters of a listed apparel brand in Lower Parel.
