These terms govern your use of BIWA Leaders — the public website, member directory, and Alliance membership. By visiting the site or accepting an invitation, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
BIWA Leaders is by-invitation only. Membership is offered to founders, owners, and senior leaders of operating businesses in India who meet our verification criteria. We reserve the right to decline or revoke any application at our sole discretion.
One seat per category
Each Alliance admits one verified member per business category at a time. By accepting membership, you agree that the category you declare on application will be the category you operate within for the duration of your tenure. Material changes to your business category require notification and may trigger review.
Member conduct
Members are expected to attend chapter meetings, contribute referrals in good faith, and treat fellow members with the standard of professional courtesy outlined in the Code of Conduct. Activity and credibility data is tracked and reviewed quarterly.
Fees and renewals
Membership fees, payable in INR, are set at the chapter level and published in your invitation. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy. Renewals are at the discretion of the Alliance director.
Intellectual property
The BIWA Leaders name, marks, scoring methodology, programmes, and all original content on the site are our intellectual property and may not be copied, redistributed, or used to train machine-learning models without prior written consent.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate membership for breach of these terms, breach of the Code of Conduct, falsified verification information, or activity that risks the integrity of the community. Termination does not entitle the member to a refund except as set out in the Refund Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to the dispute-resolution process below.
Dispute resolution
Disputes will first be addressed via good-faith discussion with the Alliance director and, where unresolved, escalated to the franchise office. Unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Gurugram.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@biwa.in.
