Who Founds an Alliance

Three kinds of people start new rooms.

  • The locked-out founder

Your category is already taken in every Alliance near you. The only way in is to charter a new room — typically in a neighbouring micro-market or vertical.

  • The well-connected operator

You know 30+ business owners by first name and they take your call. You'd rather host the room than just attend it.

  • The community-minded CXO

Your city doesn't have a BIWA Alliance yet. You want to be the founding member — not the hundredth.

The Chartering Path

How a new Alliance comes to life.

  • 01

    Founding circle

You assemble 8–12 prospective members across non-overlapping categories. We provide the playbook, the category list, and a vetting checklist.

    Week 0
  • 02

    Charter meeting

A BIWA franchise director attends. The category-exclusivity rules are agreed. Leadership — Director, VP, Secretary — is elected from the founding circle.

    Week 2
  • 03

    Soft launch

Three meetings open to invited visitors. Membership applications begin. Credibility scoring activates from meeting one. HO provides on-call support.

    Weeks 3–10
  • 04

    Full charter

At 25 members the Alliance is full-chartered, listed on the public map, and added to the directory. Founding members are recognised on the Alliance page.

What HO Provides

You bring the room.We bring the system.

  • The full Alliance playbook

Meeting agenda, scripts, leadership rotation, conflict resolution — refined across 47 active Alliances.

  • A chartering director

A senior BIWA director attends your first three meetings, runs the charter, and trains your leadership.

  • Credibility scoring from day one

Every referral, 1-on-1 and thank-you slip is logged from meeting one. The scoring engine activates automatically.

  • Public listing & directory

Once chartered, your Alliance gets a public page, members get profiles, and the city is listed on the map.

  • Member portal & visitor routing

All members get the BIWA app. New visitor applications in your city get routed to your Alliance first.

  • Brand, design, and marketing

Launch announcements, social cards, press support, and the same trusted brand every BIWA Alliance shares.

The Economics

What it costs. What it returns.

Founding members pay the standard ₹30,000 annual membership. The chartering Alliance pays a one-time charter fee of ₹1,50,000 to BIWA HO — covering the chartering director, onboarding, and the first year of platform support.

Founders are not employees of BIWA. They are members of their own Alliance, with one additional role: Founding member — recognised in perpetuity on the Alliance page.
